Are you aware that "up to" means that also every temperature change between the defined points leads to an interpolated fan speed, which means it is stepless in the end?

If the question is for me then yes, that is what I was trying to say with "between 65C and 80C ramp up to...", ie as temperature goes up bit-by-bit the fan speed goes up bit-by-bit from 0% to 60% PWM as well.

bridgman Yeah, that's how I understood you in the first place. I was answering to faph who described it as "ramps up in steps", which I think isn't accurate.

I btw. had been using that script for months with my RX 560 and it never failed me.
