You forget to note "how to build a kernel" link

AFAIR Ubuntu kernels have builtin this into kernel not as module, so there is no easy option there to go this path.

It is about 5% slower by default on performance cpufreq here and there, so just add these +5% to the results of your choice if you like and enjoy

Just imagine it is not, debianxfce should also imagine +5% and that is it

Has anyone thrown some ECC sticks in these and confirmed whether or not they work?

So the intel cpu is running a full 900mhz higher which explains the OGL differences in gaming. However what the heck is going on with VulkanAPI and Ryzen? completely broken!

Are Valve developers still in vacation? ;-)

                    Ryzen R7 1700 is still a multi-thread beast
Much safer with a cheap 4+2+1 phase (4 for CPU core) power supplying B350 motherboard.

Well that is what is... after prerelase hype Ryzen really gets there in the CPU-centric tests, but falls well short on gaming performance. - seems to be general conclusion both on Windows and Linux...

                      Gamers will use PlayStation anyway
