Carrizo has the latest Excavator core, just started shipping in volume over the last few months:

So will the cash injection from selling a majority share of their manufacturing to China BUT that comes with baggage of it's own. Like the possibility of hardware keyloggers in every chip made in those factories and the inevitable counterfeits that are taken from the reject bin.

AMD better hurry up with this Zen cpu. Sure it will kick ass but Intel is kicking butt at the moment. In saying that I am still content with my 955 phenom 2.

I watched it too and just laugh , because they don't have threaded GL optimization there... If that was a case there should be virtually no difference in performance, of course Vulkan should do that nearly same thing with less CPU used then threaded GL .

Long story short PC is PC really i am going to play Talos on Playstation 4 now... their GNM API already uses this, nothing can be better then API tailored to exactly One GPU

On the other hand i dunno why PC people traditionaly wants to tailore themselfs to one GPU vendor I mean i know why, but then it is no PC anymore
Fair enough, but in the Vulkan talk, they complained that OpenGL was terrible at threading from the CPU. So maybe this explains why Vulkan was born. I have since seen more Vulkan demos and would have to agree that Consoles still have a bigger foothold in game design than on PC. To me that is sad though because PC master race...
