For example in USA it is fascist republicans vs menshevik trockist democrats.

In England it is imperialist conservatives vs bolshevik labor party.

Ah come the fuck on. New CPU architectures are now "code bloat" only because they aren't our lord and saviour RISC-V?

Taking PC to a whole new level.

And that's quite some initiative, there. Do you also wear a police costume and pose as a mall cop, on your days off?

Yes, they want their own backdoors. No, really.

Imagine a CPU which won't run software not signed by the Chinese government. In order to sign it, they will archive a copy. Perhaps, they'll even ensure that it has the requisite backdoors or reporting functionality, as well.

Lest you think this is only a problem for the Chinese, consider all of the IT and IoT products we already import from China. Chinese brands are now exporting and marketing everything from wifi routers to cell phones, TVs, and all sorts of other household appliances and industrial equipment. You think they're going to use a different CPU for export markets? Dream on.

As far as paranoid fantasies go, let's see InsideJob top that!

Oh, there's a fringe left, alright. Not big, but it's out there. The right-wing has no monopoly on the crazies, unfortunately.

Actually fascism, as defined by the guys that coined it (Mussolini's ghost writer, etc.. The second reich/et al.) is adherence to the state (authority). And it really doesn't matter which wing or belief system you have, if you worship authority and want to give yourself to your emperor/idol/god (think Stargate SG1) then you are tending towards fascism. Fascism is an extreme position where people give them selves up to the state, just like Communism, etc... Conservatism tends to reflect and adopted position that protects the status quo, in which case, if that status quo involves a strong state, then, yes them too. At the end of the day right and left are just a made up construct use to herd people like livestock, in order to exploit stupidity for profit. Story tellers have been telling people lies for thousands and thousands of years, and people keep believing in the confidence game, out of fear, etc... A good resource for understanding fascism and state worship could be considered John Taylor Gatto, who has done some research in the way of Prussian education, history and it's application in 'modern schooling'. After all, it was among other things, the Prussian education system which lead the way for Nazism, and people who gladly do what ever their told, including exterminating other people. Getting people to think not for themselves, but for 'the greater good'.

Depends on how you define "liberal" 'cause a liberal in the USA is the opposite of a liberal here in the Netherlands, for example.
