Is it possible to view Youtube videos above 720p without Flash yet? What about 60 FPS?

Yes, both of those are possible. Google merely restricted 480/1080p and 60fps playback to browsers that support MSE. Chrome/Chromium has supported it for ages, and Firefox at least supports it by default in the Nightly channel (I dunno about stable, but you can just set all of the "mediasource.enable" prefs to true to enable it). I'm assuming none of the GTKWebKit or QtWebKit browsers have this functionality, however.

Thanks. I tried to toggle the mediasource options, but now YouTube just plays the first two seconds and then the spinning circle thing comes up and nothing more happens. I guess Firefox isn't ready yet.

        Also, what is MSE?

Turns out putting every media.mediasource options to true, except media.mediasource.mp4 works, kind of. It stutters sometimes, while Chromium is flawless.

Great! Now only porn needs to dump Flash, and it will actually be dead.

EDIT: Damn it, forgot about Twitch... *sigh*

I won't link to them but tons of pornsites work without Flash now. Come on Twitch and Crunchyroll.

                This is sad story.

AMD had problems with their drivers. Blender community complained (rightly so!)
AMD fixed their compiler. Blender community complained.
AMD fiexed blender code. Blender community thx them (rightly so!)

At least we can cross one ticket off the "AMD driver s****" list

This is a nice gift from AMD. I appreciate it.
And: I have seen driver issues everywhere. Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Via. Blob or free, they all have issues here or there.
Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!

                      about time.

i used to work in a linux/blender driven 3D animation company, and this would have been nice.
