First up was an attempt at running some of the Steam Linux games compatible with the open-source driver... The results above are sadly though just for the proprietary Catalyst driver. Ubuntu 15.04 was running into a new Steam issue (not the common library issue) when running the open-source drivers that X errors were being generated and blocked the tests from being done on the Linux 4.0 + Mesa 10.6-devel code.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is among the games that will work on the open-source Radeon Linux driver usually. However, the newer titles like the Metro 2033/LL Redux and BioShock Infinite will not work with the open-source Mesa/Gallium3D drivers until more of OpenGL 4.x is implemented.

The open-source Tesseract game still shows a large difference in performance between the open and closed-source AMD Linux graphics drivers.

Team Fortress 2 is another Steam test that normally runs on the open-source Radeon driver sans today Ubuntu 15.04 Steam issues.
