The 8GB write performance is not any faster with IOzone when enabling the Btrfs mount compression option.

Btrfs already read an 8GB file faster than EXT4 with the Linux 2.6.35 kernel, but when enabling the transparent compression the SSD read speed improved by 11%.

When running Dbench with just one client, enabling Btrfs compression improved its write speed by 5%.
