Based on the code names and lines added I'd say this could be a desktop or laptop Zen 4 APU.

      Code:
      case FAMILY_YC:
      case FAMILY_GC_10_3_6:
      case FAMILY_GC_10_3_7:
Anyone wanna play guess the code name?

      My guess is "Gamboge Catfish"

GC = Graphics Core (I prefer GFX over GC though).

Sorry, but Gamboge is not a valid X11 colour...

...unless it is one of the variants of Goldenrod ?

That said, I learned a new word today - thanks !!

marek So did AMD change its naming scheme again? Not that I'm complaining, gfx1036 is a lot better than random color+fish.

Would have loved a "red herring" chip tho.

I forgot about the X11 part. Not like I'm the one here who's paid to know that information.

I almost went with Golden Poppy Catfish because I have an orange and white cat named Poppy.
Yeah, I know, not an X11 color either.

Well that's no fun. Y'all could at least let us play "guess the acronym"

Maybe, but I think it's more likely that gfx1036 just placeholder for Da Vinci Sea Bass.
