Fedora 40 Looks At Packaging Its Own PyTorch

Whatever you do please just keep it open source.

It's not just as easy as running "pip3 install torch".

Microsoft is maintaining it's own PyTorch. AMD is doing the same. Nvidia also... everyone forks clang, everyone forks llvm.

Fedora has relatively strong policies against forks. I've been actively working with Tom and a few others to try to avoid forking llvm, so no need to worry. Fedora also has strong open source policies.

I was about to ask how is this possible if Fedora doesn't control upsteam repos and then I saw this new post https://www.phoronix.com/news/Fedora-40-Eyes-AMD-ROCm-6
