Wasmtime Now Offering Go Bindings For WebAssembly On The Desktop
I settled on VSCode. Even being an Electron app installed by snap, it starts within 2-3 seconds. Also the plugin philosophy makes it quite versatile, yet somewhat slim. I don't know if it provides all features of Eclipse though.
Interestingly, I recently read that Eclipse has made a VSCode clone/competitor (https://theia-ide.org/). I haven't looked into that though.
I saw the Theia-IDE announcement too. It looks interesting.
