    I think this is one of the software most suitable for being re-licensed under mpl 2 , that is still in time to do it ( it is , right ? )

      1. What makes you think it's "most suitable" for that? (Honest question)
      2. Philip Chimento released it under the GPL. What makes you think he'd change his mind? (Again, honest curiosity.)
      3. It's always "in time" to re-license something... it just gets harder and harder to either get permission from everyone who's contributed code or rip out and re-write the bits you couldn't get permission for as a project progresses.

        I don't see how the license has any bearing on a packaging tool.
        GPL won't freedomize the programs being packed by Flapjack.
