Oracle Solaris 11.4 Officially Released

We can start betting is this a last solaris, or there will be another final exhalation. I bet the former. Sad!

According to Oracle itself you can expect Solaris 11.5 in 2019 and Solaris would be supported at least to 2034. It lives until big enterprises are willing to pay for it's support.

Oracle even seems to do some actual work on it, 11.4 for example brought pf firewall ported over from OpenBSD. Made work with zones as well.
