Microsoft makes Office for Android that is a fork, not for Linux nor any free desktop.
So we are far away from victory...

Just what the hell are you smoking? Android is as much Linux as any other Linux. One need not include Xorg or a heap of GNU to be Linux.

Play with details as much as you can, for me Android is not Linux. It is a radically different and separated OS, even if it shares a lot of generic kernel sources.

So we still do not have Office but only a mobile version for a custom mobile OS.

They're legitimate in the only way that matters, whether they're able to bend others to their will. Whether the patents are valid is mostly irrelevant when talking a corporation that size, because almost nobody is going to have the money and willpower to actually fight them in court over it as we've seen.
