When it comes to my HP scanner, it ONLY works on Linux as the official HP drivers refuse to work with the scanner on Windows.

But I still don't see what this has to do with Replicant...

Nobody made the English language, it evolved from other languages.

Well, yes and no. American English did evolve naturally, but it was different all across the continent. Then came Noah Webster, and synthesised a dictionary that he hoped everyone would eventually adopt in favour of their local dialects. In it he was trying to remove things that were French-sounding and weren't in Latin (but he overshot and removed too much of it, including some that was in Latin to begin with) or things that in his opinion were needlessly complex. And his plan worked. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah_Webster#Publication

Simply no. All Webster did was a 'freeze' on the english repostory. And that's not even working well, as our language is still evolving today.

Sup dawg, yo momma makes ya proud!

All languages do, apart from dead ones like Latin.

Actually I've had more problems printing/scanning in Windows than Linux.

But what does this have to do with FOSS mobiles?
