    Thanks; it is though a sad perspective that Microsoft can just decide to nuke a proven, essential feature and replace it with a power-wasting compatibility quagmire, and few years later there is no way around it... In some time linux -- laptop compatibility tables may look like those of PostmarketOS for smartphones :L

      For me, it's the other way around. I have abnormal issues of suspending as of late. Suspending never happens, and hanceforth it can't resume from vegetative state. I always have 5-6 USB devices plugged, might be related.
      But when suspending works, it always resumes fine.
