It would be interessting how they maneuver through the sanctions - if they have to. Aurora for Russia was/is their major income.

Besides they could use their remote wipe feature to wipe all Russian Politician Devices.

Installed it a couple of days ago and it runs well on my Sony Xperia 10 - Dual SIM.
As boring as updates should be on a phone.

While I'm generally not a big fan of proprietary and closed-source, on the flip-side "Aurora OS" (which is installed on so called "russian iPhone alternative" AYYA T1) probably won't be able to benefit from new Saifish OS releases.

And despite all that I still trust them the same or more than Google or Apple

                - about the Proprietary thing...yes they have some apps like the Android apps support that are Proprietary....but the sailfishOS itself is open

                - "scamming supporters" ....let me guess the whole tablet thing? if yes....oh fuck off ...sigh

                - about the Russia thing:

well the board members from Russia have now resigned : https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/reque...rship/10553/16

and Apparently contributions from AuroraOS have stop since last version 4.3 that was released on November 2021: https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/plea-...jolla/10430/68

anything else you want to bitch about?

4.4.0.58 some time now and it works as expected.
I got an Xperia 10 III that is waiting for support.

The most mature non-Android OS for smartphones out there. Hope it won't go out of business.
