To me it seems like there was a failed build but later the build succeeded.
What i see is "Instructions not filled in by author. Author knows what to do. Everybody else should avoid this repo." and nothing about HID, am i reading it wrong?
The repo is safe to use and meant for testing purpose in this case AMD sensor fusion hub.
The main driver "pcie_mp2_amd", AMD(R) PCIe MP2 Communication Driver, is enabled in that kernel. The other driver needed to detect HID part failure to built is that driver,
AMD_SFH_HID_CLIENT, somehow wasn't built leading to the main driver unable to communicate with HID. I don't know what is missing.

People need to support companies that provide certified Linux Laptops.

If AMD is not prioritizing subsystems/coprocessors then vendors who provide official support (like Dell) can put pressure on them to implement/fix things faster.

Linux Consumer -> Vendor that supports Linux -> Manufacturer

My Ryzen laptop's issues were fixed in ~5.2 and back-ported in some distros and I thought that was late.
