5770/6850 with proprietary drivers? Good luck with any modern distro. This thing no longer exists, Mesa is literally the only choice. Fortunately it works more or less.

Btw, it's "linux release on day one" as it is using the same engine they used for Crusader Kings II, which works already on Linux.

Graphics got bumped up dramatically tho (or boxy ships seem more natural than boxy men). Crusader Kings looks a bit like crap in 3D art department.

Not a game you buy for graphics anyway.

Just bought it with the very slim chance that this might work on my Intel NUC5 (integrated graphics) and to my supersize it started up with absolutely no problem and seems to work (at least entering a new game). I'm kind of blown away, good work Paradox!

Good to know, if it runs in your potato, it will run in mine. I doubt it is much heavier than a light Homeworld 2 battle, this game is mostly strategic.
