Jane Jensen's Moebius is getting really close to that Linux stretch goal.

Nope, they made it!! Just today! Please, if you love serious adult adventure game plots, with drama, peril and everything we've come to expect from Jane (see Gabriel Knight series, Gray Matter, etc), this is the time to support her!

Their community really came through to bring us to $400K and guarantee a NATIVE LINUX port of the game... but if you want good pricing, and some goodies (like a big box version, FLAC audio files of the soundtrack during development) and want to help them meet their next stretch goal (a full orchestral score and a much deeper, richer game with another 1,000 lines of dialogue), we've got 11 hours to go.

Also, the Two Guys from Andromeda project is going to be awesome (again, for those who loved the Sierra Space Quest series, and funny point-and-click adventures in general), and those guys are supporting Jane's Moebius project as well.

Linux is getting some old-school Sierra love!

I contributed to this project as well, via PayPal. Until 25th May it's still possible to get the rewards via a PayPal donation: pinkertonroad.com/join-csg/

To their next stretch goal (at $450k) they need about $10k more PayPal donations. They got $435,316 via kickstarter, and PayPal is at about $5k currently.

Just saw Drifter: a space trading game, has said linux will be looked at eventually, with a firm guarantee at the $100,000 funding mark:

Folks, Legends of Eisenwald is closing soon; they've promised Linux support already, though delayed a few months from the main Windows release... unless we can pledge it up another $25K or so to help them guarantee a simultaneous release on all three main desktop plaforms (L/M/W)! Wouldn't that be awesome? If you like gorgeous turn-based medieval strategy playing natively on your box, this looks like a lot of fun. If not, please consider supporting the Two Guys from Andromeda ( http://tgakick.com ). You can check out LoE alpha gameplay videos that they've posted... it looks awesome to me!!

Again, for convenince, here's the URL: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...s-of-eisenwald

It looks like the $35 (a bit over ?20) is a good reward tier, as it gets the game, soundtrack, beta access, and all future DLC on the game. Of course, the higher ones are better, but start where you can

SpaceVenture seems to have really lost a lot of steam as of late and if it continues as it is going now it may not make funding. Gotta keep getting the word out there so the creators of Space Quest can bring a hilarious new adventure to Linux.

Cloudberry Kingdom is planning a Linux port, but currently the rewards are for the Steam or Wii U versions.

I've been playing the beta, and it is ridiculously good fun.
