On that note, Win is quite interesting. It's becoming the Dosbox for Win32+ stuff. A lot of super old games work better under Wine than on Windows XP or later. Thanks to prefix management, it's possible to set up a "snapshot" with a specific Wine version, so they're pretty much guaranteed to run forever.

More importantly, I am annoyed that Phronix is publishing "news" about a yet to be announced by Valve Linux client.
There is no justification for his articles. No proof == lies. It's quite simple, really.
A hacked Linux client proves very little in terms of an actual company supported Linux client. What happend to the working WOW/UT3 client? The respective companies didn't want to support them, resulting in no game clients. Same story here I suspect, though I assume nothing is happening considering there is no proof to suspect otherwise.

P.S. Where ever money flows you can usually expect the truth to be bent, if even just a little, so I never did 100% trust Phoronix for reviews and news but still visit for the nuggets of truth which actually do exist.
P.P.S. Official Of*fi"cial, a. [L. officialis: cf. F. officiel. See Office, and cf. Official, n.] 1. Of or pertaining to an office or public trust; as, official duties, or routine. [1913 Webster]
