    @Sonadow
    Please create a bug report at sld12-compat's issue tracker.
    If the game is not in this list, then it's unlikely Ryan (=icculus) has checked it out.

      Are you seriously asking me to put H-games on a public tracker?

        And this right here is yet another proof why nothing comes close to win32 in the desktop OS space when it comes to game preservation. I mean I appreciate all the effort with sdl12-compat, but afaiu old SDL games have to be hand picked and manually adapted to SDL2 in order to run properly.

          I'm not sure if people really want to preserve hentai games.

          Granted, I occasionally play some of those old ones I like, but still.

            I actually had no idea what are hentai games when I posted my reply, but yeah, my point still stands..

              Are you ashamed of it? Wanking isn't a crime!

                * Wayland by default

                That's just a quick list off the top of my head
                Funny. I was thinking the same thing while also thinking how much a person's perspective could vary by their distribution of choice. Take myself, an Arch/Rolling Release user that uses a KDE desktop. For me, not a whole lot on the surface has changed. Plasma 5 is still Plasma 5 regardless of bug fixes, performance enhancements, or low level gluing done. Combine that with all the changes slowing hitting you over time versus going from Ubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 or RHEL 6 to 9 to get smacked in the face all the changes and it's easy to see someone not seeing the past 13.5 years.

                To add to your 69 list:
                • AMDGPU (eff Catalyst)
                • Steam on Linux
                • Mantle/Vulkan/RADV
                • The entire gaming on Linux revolution
                • Mesa and FOSS driver advancements
                • OpenZFS
                • LZ4
                • Zstd
                • Rust
                • bcachefs
                • Filesystem advancements need their own list...

                A lot of neat stuff that everyone relies on has been released since 2010....RHEL 6....especially if you were an AMD user. That was a magical decade to be an AMD user.

                  It's hentai. There's a 90% chance they look like 12yo girls.

                  That's what throwaway accounts are for, but now we'd know who did it regardless of using a throwaway

                    This demonstrates the awesomeness of abstraction layers and APIs. It allows continued support of old games and applications, without emulation or recompilation.

                    (Well, at least as long as CPUs offer hardware compatibility with 32-bit x86 code.)

                      We're all grown up men here. Nothing to be ashamed of.
