Phoronix: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 vs. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Linux Gaming Performance

This week NVIDIA and their AIB partners began shipping the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with pricing starting out at $299 USD. Like the recently-launched Radeon RX 7600, the RTX 4060 is geared mostly for 1080p gaming but how does it compare against the RX 7600 that is priced starting at $249? Here are some initial Linux gaming benchmarks of the GeForce RTX 4060 against the Radeon RX 7600.

3DMark has been native to Linux for a while albeit not publicly released and just available to IHVs/ISVs/reviewers.

        Well, Never knew that.

Why have they not released it to the public ? Even if just through steam!

The power consumption difference between those two is considerably lower, compared to Windows tests I saw from other reviewers. I wonder if measuring from the wall would show different results.

I was told because there is no GUI but command line only on Linux is why there is no public release.

apologies for the delay due to NVIDIA's lack of cooperation.
                  Normal leather jacket behaviour

Thanks for add 1080p tests however maybe can add some interesting tests for probe vram limits case: resident evil 4, howarts legacy, the last of us and others

Some people say the 4060 is a downgrade from the 3060. Is this true?
For one thing, the Ada architecture performs better than Ampere, but...
