            Depends on what the key information is (context), you may have just lost the key points of the article.
            The points were to bring the history of how great the developer is and what significant hire of the person is, and to actually continue to search about the key points of the history (for more clarification) to understand the context. If not done, well any such article is just meh because the only thing you'll see is "just another hire".

                Whatever one thinks about the fact that Valve's Steam is proprietary and that its storefront has games full of DRM, it's for absolute certain that their contributions to Linux gaming are nothing short of miraculous.

                Game developers unfortunately want DRM and closed source. Even when I was making maps back in StarCraft everybody "protected" their maps by removing the metadata required for editing them, so I can only imagine how people feel about their hundred million dollar project. Steam has to straddle the line to make developers go on their platform while contributing to free software, and personally I think they're doing one heck of a job.

                    Actually Mike strongly hinted at that move in a "[REDACTED]" entry in his blog recently. Captain Code Deletion gave it away if you follow the Mesa MRs closely.
