I really don't know how to get the word out about things I create, so I'm at least trying to make a few posts about this one.
For a long time, it's bothered me that there's no capture for OpenVR output on Linux, meaning overlays don't show up when I capture the mirror window, and I can't access the overlays directly.
Similarly to how the SteamVR capture plugin works on Windows, I wrote a plugin to capture outputs and overlays directly from any OpenVR compositor.
I'm terrible at trying to get the word out about stuff I create, and often someone ends up duplicating the work a while later, so hopefully here and Reddit is sufficient for announcement. If you have other ideas or tips, let me know.
Here's the links, and cheers!
