    Good news if you have an AMD RX 480 (or any POLARIS10) card and haven't been able to resume from suspend since kernels 4.13 and 4.14. The patch has been finally merged

    No more having to build a kernel just to fix two uninitialized variables!

        Man, I hope somebody with Linus's testicular fortitude will step to maintain a tree up when he retires. The pimp hand appears essential to the quality of the kernel.

            Blunt, and to the point. I would not call it a "rant".

            In some professions (military for example) such way of talking is a pretty standard way for explaining dumb subordinates what exactly they did wrong..
