I don't know if this is the right place to report this, but I updated to 4.6.0-lowlatency on my Ubuntu 16.04 using the instructions from http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/...-ubuntu-16-04/ and I noticed that approximately every 90-95 seconds the laptop screen is flickering for a fraction of a second, as if the display would be turned off for an instant.
I have a Dell Latitude E7240 with this graphics card: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0b)
There's nothing in dmesg nor in the Xorg log that would indicate any issue.
This issue wasn't present with the latest version of the out-of-the box 4.4.0 Linux kernel.
