From my perspective that Italian "hacking team" is a criminal organization. They are scum for selling their work to government agencies that seek to suppress all dissent in the name of the bankers and big business. They are also responsible for the fate of everyone jailed, tortured, or executed based on the use of what they have knowingly done with special purpose tools. On the other hand, the tools that Hacking Team themselves used came from general purpose tools NOT written for the express purpose of enabling government repression. There is a difference between a blacksmith custom forging a beheading knife for Daesh (ISIS) and a merchant selling kitchen knives in Damascus unknowingly selling one to a buyer from Daesh.
