Has anyone else noticed hard lockups with dynticks turned on with high workload since 3.17-rc1? Bug https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84131 I'm seeing it on both a Intel Sandybridge machine and an AMD Kabini machine (I don't have any other machines to test)

    Does anyone else use dynticks?

I'm not sure I understood what you are saying, but... perhaps it's this bug? https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79701

No I'm afraid not - totally different issue - my other machine doesn't even have dual graphics

This seems to be directly related to the No Hz (Dynamic Ticks) / RCU code - turning of Dynamic Ticks seems to be a workaround
