Unfortunately dacha's patch doesn't seem to be included, seeing as dragging and dropping a file to Notepad++ is still borked for me.

I am updating the CSMT patchset sporadically. It is always manual work, and every now and then there are more complicated conflicts, so please forgive occasional slowness.

I am working on upstreaming this work, but we decided to move d3d resource management to a d3d11-like model before we merge the command stream things. This takes a while, as every change raises new questions about how some things work in ddraw, d3d8, d3d9, d3d10 and d3d11.

Thanks! Can you give some rough estimate when will dx11 features be in a state to allow running new games like the upcoming Witcher 3 for example? Are we talking about years here?

Sorry, I cannot give any ETA. It depends a lot on how many other bug reports we have. Currently the huge majority of games people want are still d3d9 and earlier. It also depends on how many regressions we cause while migrating wined3d to a more d3d11-like interface.
