    If this works, then that is very nice. I get random kernel panics on my self-built OpenWRT router sometimes (it's running a self-built kernel I built myself, so this isn't an OpenWRT distro kernel issue) and have never been able to debug this, I don't even know where to start.

    I do have remote syslog setup but that doesn't help when the kernel panics, the syslog server doesn't get any logs anymore at that point.
