    Something I'd love to see is a C stdlib that builds on top of IO_uring. Just for the heck of it, it would allow for a whole system with nearly no system calls.

      Yea. I could be the silver bullet to solve the kernel-mode vs user-mode performance impact. The GNU Hurd should use something similar only if they had the manpower to work on it.
