I was surprised to see that the SSD benchmarks have been run with the CFQ I/O scheduler. Wasn't the CFQ I/O scheduler designed for rotating media (harddisks)? I have been told that SSDs perform better with the deadline and none schedulers than with CFQ.

phoronix Very interested in repeating the BTRFS test with HDD. In my case, when I switched from Ext4 to BTRFS with compress-force=zstd option, the 4KB random write performance increased 6 times.
