    I am a systemd and glibc fanboy, and I love apt-get and yum/dnf.

    But one of the things that makes free software great is choice. Void is awesome, so if it has a huge surge in popularity, great.

      There are some instances were MUSL libc isn't as fast as glibc but it seems like it is coded cleanly and is a bit less rampant on memory hogging..
      Actually Void has packages and ISO with both musl and glibc. When you download it you decide which one and desktop to get.

        Must admit that the "lack of systemd" is just "one of the novelties" that this distro has.

        It does look like originality for its own sake, not a Devuan-like distro using uselessd because waaah! waaah! Unix! waaah!
