    Thanks for advising of that common experience. (Zypper and Curl possibly connected me with a very capable server in Utah, and I ran the job very early in the AM - before other USA people were waking up).

      Yeah, I gave that advice to my dad too for next time, but I don't think I would do it. Annoying as it is, I'm always too excited when there's big changes like this.
