It would be cool if there was some kind of install "manifest" (maybe there is, and I suppose in a way has to be) that shows what gets installed with various options. I get the need or want for various live ISO images. But that aside, having a "universal" netinstaller image where you can read through the manifests of various install options would be cool.
On a side note, I have been installing some various Gnome based distros in VirtualBox, and clearly they each have their own ideas what what all they want to install. Some are more lightweight, so include "the kitchen sink." Anyway, this is all a processes, and I want the Linux desktop to have a more mainstream place as an option, as I despise Apple in certain ways and Windows and it's constant online integration (live tiles, telemetry, etc.) is getting too much for me.
