Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everybody hates it. That's just you and a very vocal, yet very small minority. And the few apps already using libadwaita look just way more modern and clean than anything else. So just get over your ridiculous ego.
    Indoctrinated moron spotted.
    (Lib/)Adwaita looks like 2011. It's outdated.
You are correct, Gnome is clean, as clean as a racing car. It has absolutely nothing in it, so of course it's clean. But you can't do most normal things with it unless you use 15-20 extensions to make it half decent, same as you'd need to entirely overhaul the inside and trunk of a racing car to make it road comfort compliant.
Red Hat, which is basically the sole Gnome developer with a bunch of naives from endlessm thinking they're part of a community that doesn't exist, has the means to make the ecosystem around Gnome half worth it, which is why so many distros ship with it. But basically almost nobody likes it or is satisfied with it. It's a fact.
Now, when a company invest so much money in it, including marketing and paid trolls like yourself, it says a lot that they can't even make a modern product or a product that people enjoy.
Canonical invested like a 100th in Unity of what Red Hat invested in Gnome, and yet it was a much better product, and plebiscited by end users (except a few Gnome trolls).
It's hilarious how terrible everything Red Hat does is compared to how much they invest, and how little of a real community they can gather around what they do. 😆
