Please use "about" when writing if describing a single item. Use on when the subject is a broad topic .I would write on a general topic. Mandriva is providing information about Dnfdragora, one of the topics on system updates management.

Sorry, but in a multi-lingual society in which I live, writers would use "of" or "concerning" or "about",, The writers use "on" to be the opposite of "off" . On topic, off topic, "on the table", "on trial", "on time".

If you hadn't noticed, OpenMandriva Lx 4 had a huge amount of change in its core system. It's very much warranted to get feedback early and often. And given that OpenMandriva lacks the resources to produce images nightly and store them for people to try, I think it's doing well for itself.

There's nothing wrong with having an alpha release before a beta release.

producing Nightliers has nothing to do with the fact they still have " Alpha " release. it has to do with Cost at producing an alpha to begin with. why do you think Ubuntu an Fedora dont actually release an Alpha. Redhat Enterprise dont release an Alpha of a Release, they only produce a Beta an then a Final.

It actually does. One of the major reasons for Fedora dropping alphas was that nightlies are automatically produced and tested with Fedora's OpenQA instance. That obviates a need for a large chunk of early-stage manual testing. OpenMandriva doesn't have that. So it makes sense for them to produce an Alpha build before a Beta build.
