    the multi-threading for the pixel brush engine has basically removed any brush lag i was experiencing for brushes under 400 pixels.
    even brushes as large as 1000 pixels are somewhat usable now without having to use instant preview mode.

      How efficient is your machine? 8 cores or more?

        I have a stock clocked ryzen 1700 so 8 cores 16 threads at around 3.2GHz.

          I've been keeping an eye on the Krita repository and there are some seriously major changes. A lot of new contributors bringing stuff to the table for this release.
