System76 Continues Working On GNOME Improvements For Future Ubuntu
If you were paying for Gnome, it would be fine to say it is the developers responsibility to meet your needs.

About Gnome, I just saying that, instead of removing-to-bare-metal-feature the gnome control-panel, then make one new app that is Gnome tweak tools, why not just make one gnome control panel, but extensible (you can download and add features/extensions)
