I don't have specific questions because I don't really use Chrome (because it's a memory hog and because it keeps nagging me about logging into my Google account). But I keep my eyes on it, because from time to time I get to recommend people one browser or another.
    I don't use Chrome either :P

Chromium is what i'd recommend, not Chrome. I personally use Vivaldi though, I think it's a great browser.

Yup, once Seamonkey goes belly-up, Vivaldi's going to be my next browser. I tried to switch already, but with so many years of using Seamonkey, I have too many passwords and form data saved that cannot be migrated. So I'll be migrating bit by bit.

Why would you ever want flashplugin or google hangouts? Both of them are shit!

I would never imagine that the "purist" debianxfce which has so many strong opinions would actually use those horrible things.

Also, even though pulseaudio is shit at least I can plug in my speakers and headphones at the same time and switch to HDMI audio on my laptop. Linux needs a proper userspace mixer and right now pulseaudio is the only alternative. Some day I guarantee that you will need some pulseaudio feature, so let's either support it until it becomes mature or you write your own damn userspace sound mixer.

Fortunately there is at least someone who is dedicated to working on pulse full time:

Yeah, Linux video decoding / utilizing gpu drivers in general isn't very high on their priority list. It's a shame, really.
