Yes, for the GNOME applications, but not for gnome-shell and Mutter though.

Notably GNOME Terminal suffers from ugly drop shadow, and Evince suffers from wrong window decorator.

The Beta is already in Debian Testing. The debian developers have been quite busy at packaging and testing Gnome 3.22. Good work Guys.

Nope, almost all of Gnome packages are at version 3.21.91 (beta) in Debian Testing.
3.21.92 (rc) is already available in unstable.

Since the transition freeze is rapidly approaching, perhaps they are making sure that the Gnome 3.22 desktop is in before November 5.
