    I believe this already makes Valve a bigger Kernel contributor than Canonical.

          The Valve developer sniffed out the command sequence from the Windows driver and implemented it within the Linux driver for the XBox 360 wireless controller.
          Not to take credit away from his contribution, but he is not the one who found the command sequence for this. We've known how to change the LED on the Xbox wireless controllers for years.
