    Indeed.
    Having had bad experience with 3 SSDs bricking due to firmware issues and power outage/spikes (while having rotating drive RAIDs on same workstations not missing a bear [or bit]), I much prefer having an SSD a smart cache, as opposed to something I need to rely on.
    Having bcache as an install option is a very good thing (tm).
