    That statement says far more about you than it says about KDE, old friend. I've been a Linux desktop user since 1993 (back then there was no KDE; it was twm, fvwm and olvwm) and I've tried them all, but in my experience KDE is the smoothest, most reliable desktop environment available today. I don't care about raw FPS numbers, so much as the excellent interactivity and responsiveness. I will admit that KDE 4.0 was a disaster - but it's time to move on. 2008 was a long time ago.
