These forums seem to be a total waste of time.
People fight over and over again about the same (minor) issues.
Then there are troll geniuses like Honton who contradict themselves all the time:
First saying: KDE is unmaintainable bloat, and then when some of the "bloat" is removed saying they remove features.
Replying in a serious, rational manner is like not understanding sarcasm and trying to seriously interpret something which is not to be meant seriously.

Honton works after a simple principle: Take everything that is related to KDE, pick out on contra argument against an individual change and mix it with subjective and objectively incorrect views. Arguing is really easy for him: He does not have a standpoint. With every new topic he attacks KDE related changes from a different point of view. And if there are no changes, you can guess what is arguments are .
Something that seems to indicate his point of view, like those graphs on oloh, are taken as arguments without considering everything else.

I guess thats the whole dilemma of social media: There are trolls, which mainly exists because of all the supporters (who are against him, but without knowing they support him with their attempts to give serious answers.). This are kind of indirect trolls. And then there are of course those making comments like "How long do you want to feed the troll", which also give attention to trolls.
(I admit, this post will also be of the latter category, but it will be my first and last).

Well it's almost a total waste of time, the primary thing that makes the forums not a waste of time is that the developers of various things, and people like bridgman are on here which allows you to keep a better idea on where things stand.
