We are considering a 32 bit version, but unfortunately we still don't have any official announcement about it.

          Viber "Privacy Policy"

"We may disclose information about you if we determine that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance that disclosure of information is necessary."

Essentially, their privacy policy is that if you want to use their software to communicate with others then you must accept their demand that you have no right to privacy.

Thank you for expressing your concerns. We're always happy to address our users' doubts and worries.

First, it is important to be accurate ? we collect only names and phone numbers, nothing else. We collect users' information not for profit purposes, but only for functional reasons, and in order for us to enable the service that we, as a company, promise to provide. Without that information Viber cannot function. This is not different from any other major social network/communication service provider in our world nowadays.

We would like to clarify: we *do not* and will never sell users' information to third-parties, and we keep this information well locked in our servers, with extremely limited access to it. This information (in great detail) is explained in our very clear and transparent Privacy Policy.

If after reading it carefully there are still doubts or questions, then we will be more than happy to assist. You may contact our support team using this direct link: bit . ly / ukGVJ0

                Thanks,
                the Viber Team.

If that's the truth, then put it in your Privacy Policy, in very simple and clear terms. You're asking a lot from us to trust our communications with you. The least you can do is to be very, very clear about what you intend to do. Your 'very clear and transparent Privacy Policy' is not clear and transparent enough. If you offer encryption, then say so. If you don't offer encryption, then say so.

sounds like more than just name and number to me. You even tell us you use zombie cookies "located on a Web page or in an e-mail or other type of message".

we keep this information well locked in our servers, with extremely limited access to it.
"YOU MAY BE TRANSMITTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO COUNTRIES (INCLUDING THE UNITED STATES) WHERE..." - "Any or all of these activities with regard to Site usage information may be performed on our behalf by our service providers, including, for example, our analytics vendor(s) and our e-mail management partner(s)." - "In order to provide you with Viber products you have requested, Viber may sometimes, if necessary, share your Personal Information (excluding your address book and related information) and traffic data with trusted partner service providers and/or agents, for example: banking organizations or other providers of payment and analytical services, customer support, or hosting services." - "Although we cannot guarantee that Personal Information will not be subject to unauthorized access"
                    no comment...

But the worst of all: "From time to time, we may revise this Policy. We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy, or any other of our policies or practices, at any time with or without notice."

very clear and transparent Privacy Policy.
So clear and transparent that even you seem to have problems reading it...

I hope for you to stay true in that statement and clarify the objections and concerns that were expressed in the previous posts.
If not then is clear that you hide something.
Until then, I will hinder the adoption of your software among my family, friends and coleagues. I really hope that you understand that my and my own people privacy is MUCH MORE important than your israeli or american or whatever other's country national security. If you are afraid of it then sell your software only in your country. So simple.
