Also, regarding latency: I cannot detect audible sound latency while playing StarCraft. Running in VirtualBox. Which is configured to use the ALSA sound driver. So the sound goes like this:

It's totally fine. Claiming that a stupid game needs the same low-level latency as a professional audio workstation is pure hubris with no grounds in reality.
