    in my point of view the regression bugs are the worst of all...

    on my system farcry run well on 1.1.37 but on .38 and up not..

    heroes3 run well on 1.1.31 but on .32 and up not...

    thats really the worst case! you need a different wine version for every game!
    Wine gets largely funded by crossover. Crossover sells wine+hacks. Wine has to be also compatible with your two year old bought Linux distro because after all not everyone runs the latest Ubuntu/Fedora/Gentoo/Arch...

    But the facts that Wine can't have a fix for Xinput2 is way beyond healthy reasoning and I already know how this is going to end:
    The person in charge of patch inclusion will be stupid enough to keep rejecting untill some time has passed and miraculously Xinput2 is suddenly OK and he suddenly forgot about Xinput1...
