    From Bastien Nocera's blog. Red Hat has decided to stop work on several aspects of the desktop, and as such, all projects maintained by Bastien Nocera are no longer maintained. This includes power-profiles-daemon, totem (GNOME Videos), and gnome-bluetooth. Among the list are also libgudev, GNOME's library for handling udev; and the gvfs AFC backend, which enables Nautilus to talk to iOS devices.

    He also mentions that he will no longer work on the kernel, particularity its USB subsystem, or upower, a library that provides access udev's power management.

    Yet another piece of bad news coming out of Red Hat. As a reminder this news follows Red Hat's recent layoffs within the Fedora Project, their decision to stop supporting LibreOffice, the introduction of telemetry into Fedora Workstation, and the limiting of access to Red Hat Enterprise Linux's source code.
