KDE Fixes Many Plasma 5.25 Bugs This Week But Still Needs More Developer Help
It's not about booting Wayland, it's about SDDM running in Wayland. THAT'S what we were dicussing before you stepped in. And currently, SDDM doesn't run in Wayland unless you're using the git master version, but it's currently very buggy.
Booting into a Wayland session is a different matter; most display managers can do that by now. Again: we were talking about the display manager running in Wayland, something only GDM and LightDM can currently do unless you're using SDDM from git.
Hm, running DE inside Wayland... Looks like a chicken and egg problem. I probably need to read more about this.
